Have you tried opening it on terminal with java -jar PlayDodian.jar?

That terminal command only runs the jar. The client is creating a console error and the process is being terminated. The issue needs to be resolved in the client.
As for bootcamping, yes that and parallels is a option, but what we want here is to provide accessibility to all users without work arounds.

What's the error being returned?
Had the same problem, join the discord and I will send you the client directly, you shouldn't have a problem opening it afterwards

This is the complication. The client just closes without and messages or warning. Status notes appear in the mac console when the crash occurs, unfortunately, there isn't really any useful information that it gives.
