About the centered player, that's not a bug, it's intended functionality. The OSRS client works like that as well.

if you click twice on agility beam, you can walk back and forth but not get off.
can also log off on beam and stay on aswell. nbd just sayin.
withdraw obby maul as note and get tokul .

5 task with Tzhaar and i got an obby maul every task. might need to dial it back idk.

On a serious note! This is a well known issue we've had for years now. The problem with reconnecting is that the server still has your player registered as logged in. Usually takes like ~10-15 seconds for it to disconnect.
