Playing With Custom Maps

So I was playing with the map editor. There is always a struggle to find suitable maps, and sometimes those maps are too far away, so we add all these teleports... Well, no more!

Continue reading if you're interested, and want to take part in shaping what we become!

So, my concept was that we create an island. This island will house all the basic needs. Yanille is of course one of them.

Large image; just made it a link instead.

The image above was something I threw together in Photoshop to show the concept.

If you log on to the beta server, and head to Ardougne (currently dragon cave teleport spell), you will see a large area of just grass. Just head west, and you'll find Rellekka.

Do you like the concept with keeping Yanille, moving Relleka closer, and making the locations on that island the main area of content?

I do know that this is very drastic for a Dodian remake. However, that's why I've chosen to keep Yanille (obviously), in Yanille, we will still keep red key dungeon as we know it. Other than that, most else is going to change (according to the thoughts I have).

Please let me know what you like or don't like in the replies! Time to brainstorm and get to the shaping of Dodian's future!

I’m only down if the brew hall has beer on tap. And a bank.

I will consider it, but I'm not sure if we're going to do that. Maybe it fits better between Rellekka and Yanille, where Tree Gnome Village normally would be?
