when i first visited the site i could only see these 5 boards. then when i first registered i could see more boards but not the initial 5. now that i have verified my account i am back to only seeing these 5. fix your forum

It has nothing to do with the forum. It has to do with the registration process. We have not fixed it yet, but I have gone ahead and fixed your account.
We did this to combat the spam bots that were created.

it's about people not having permission to view certain things, because they have unverified emails I believe. Before it made much more sense, since the website didn't send emails - thus making it very hard to verify it too.

However, even though we send emails now, I think some existing users have been affected by some anti-spam measures we took some time ago, and now has to ask us to fix their account.

If you do not register your email, it limit the sections in which you can see. This is to counter as Nozemi mention spam bots. It seems to have worked as intended and for those that the register of email do not work or they being lazy to activate, we fix their accounts by posting a reply in here.
