The animation for verac flail makes both hands being used to swing the weapon. The staff is like any other staff.

hmm, that leaves me unsure haha. the animation might look a bit weird with bigger shields(dfs, d square and anti fire shield) but may look ok with books i guess as the poll options suggest.

Do not worry about the animation, in worse case we can make your character hide the shield when attacking or while standing idle / running with the weapon.
This will effectively just make it so your character got the stats of the item.

in that case im all for having them 1h only so we can use dfs/book whatever with them
